Little Switzerland
Little Switzerland is a charming village located on the Blue Ridge Parkway, just 3 miles away from Spruce Pine. It is known as the “jewel of the Blue Ridge Parkway” thanks to its breathtaking views reminiscent of the Swiss Alps. The landscape is simply stunning, and the village has much to offer in terms of unique dining and shopping opportunities.

Crabtree Falls
- Crabtree Falls Trailhead parking lot is right off the Blue Ridge Parkway (MP 339.5)
- Scenic 2.6 mile route with moderately strenuous terrain that generally takes 1.5 to 2 hours to complete
- The waterfall cascades over a 60-foot rock cliff and many types of ferns and wildflowers thrive in the hollow, benefiting from the waterfall’s cool spray
- Trail is open year round from dawn to dusk
- Leashed pets are allowed

- Trillium Gallery sells pottery, paper, jewelry, glass, and wood handcrafted by artists from the surrounding area.
